Our tours are a great way to explore the grapes of British Columbia. The restaurants on our tours serve wine to pair with their signature dish. Here are some of the featured pairings:

There is always the choice for a red or white alternative and we finish the dinner tours with ice-wine.

BC Wine Information

All the wines that we serve on our dining tours are from the Okanagan Valley in British Columbia. The valley is located about a 5 hour drive inland from Vancouver. Protected on either side by large mountain ranges, with a large lake running North South, the dry and tempered climate is ideal for growing grapes.

Canada is actually now the largest producer of icewine in the world. This sweet dessert wine that is made from grapes that are left to freeze on the vines. To classify as an icewine, the grapes cannot be harvested until the air temperature holds below negative 8 degrees Celcius for a few day. It is no wonder it is such an expensive product at Whistler restaurants, as only a small percentage of the grapes survive that late into the season.

So come try some fantastic BC wines on one of our 4 fantastic tours featuring different restaurants in Whistler or build a custom tour for your private group.
