WHISTLER LOCALS WHO LOVE FOOD & WINE
Whistler Tastings Tours was started by two long-time friends and culinary enthusiasts in 2008. They had extensive experience traveling the world, but always arrived in new places and never knew where to dine. So they thought: “Wouldn’t it be great to have a local guide take visitors around to all the best restaurants in one night?!” It was at this very moment that the idea of Whistler Tasting Tours was born.
Knowing Whistler had an abundance of fantastic restaurants, it was the perfect place to develop a program that allowed people to really explore the village dining scene. Having now hosted thousands of guests on our tours, we strive to provide unique dining experiences and outstanding service that consistently exceed client expectations.
Good Food. Good Wine. Good People. Good Times.

THE ULTIMATE WHISTLER RESTAURANT GUIDE
Whistler Village is host to a wide range of great restaurants that can please almost any palate and budget. These include everything from award winning fine dining establishments that feature some of the nation’s top chefs to some of the best little hidden spots off the beaten tourist path.
But like any unfamiliar place, it is difficult to know which Whistler restaurants are the real gems. Our dining tours let you find your favourite restaurant through first hand experience. While strolling through the village your friendly tour guide will provide background and history on each location.
Another bonus of the dining tour is that guests often have the chance to meet the owners and chefs at many of the restaurants in Whistler that we visit. There’s truly no better way to get acquainted with Whistler and immediately feel like a longtime local.
Everyone on our dinner tours receives a helpful restaurant guide booklet that lists all the venues we visit with their phone numbers as well as a map of all the locations. The booklet also lists many of the wines that we serve and a short description about the Okanagan Valley, which is British Columbia’s main wine growing region.
The next time you want to go out for dinner to one of the many restaurants in Whistler or purchase that bottle of wine you enjoyed on tour just consult the booklet to spark your memory.
